Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced OpenShift Engineer to join our dynamic team on a 6-month extendable contract. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, configuring, and optimizing our OpenShift environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the stability, performance, and scalability of our containerized applications.
Tasks

  • OpenShift Management: Install, configure, and manage OpenShift clusters in production and development environments.
  • Automation with Ansible: Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for automated deployments, configurations, and management tasks.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of OpenShift clusters, ensuring high availability and reliability.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to OpenShift infrastructure and application deployments.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and DevOps teams to integrate OpenShift solutions that meet business needs.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for OpenShift configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Security Compliance: Implement and maintain security best practices within OpenShift environments.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in managing and supporting OpenShift environments.
  • Ansible Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Ansible for automation of deployment and configuration tasks.
  • Containerization: Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Linux Expertise: Proficient in Linux system administration.
  • Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Language: Fluency in German is mandatory.
