The Role
The Account Executive is responsible for executing a strategic go-to-market approach and representing Unblu to customers, prospects, and partners. In addition, you are responsible for laying the foundation for rapid and sustainable growth of the customer base and revenues. This is primarily driven by your large existing network in the financial sector and your refined skills in account-based selling within the B2B space. You will work closely with all functions across the company, selling both directly and indirectly to financial institutions, while driving new business with strategic accounts as well as upsell opportunities within our existing customer base.

Responsibilities
Build and manage a sustainable and growing opportunity pipeline through account-based selling
Drive the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closing, both for new business and installed base business in the DACH region
Review, manage, and escalate requests and issues to resolution. Act as an advocate within Unblu to ensure customer requests and issues are addressed in a timely manner
Represent Unblu at meetings, events, and webinars
Become the CEO of your clients, intimately understanding their business requirements, acting as a respected business partner
Identification of potential new partners within the ecosystem and support throughout the onboarding process
Requirements
At least 5 years of proven success in "client-facing software selling"
At least 5 years of proven success in selling into the financial industry, with intimated knowledge of processes and regulations
Proven track record in quota achievement
Well-established and active network in the financial services industry, with a strong focus on banking
Understanding of digital technologies
Proficiency in both German and English, French is a plus
Excellent communicator, with flawless written communication skills
Strong business acumen and commercial awareness
Experience in prospecting, client consultation, problem-solving, closing and maintaining multiple client accounts
Self-motivated, work independent
Outstanding team player with great interpersonal skills
Ready to travel as the account base requires
