Client Development Director

My client, a growing pharma company, is seeking an Accounting & Consolidation Associate Director due to business expansion.
The Accounting & Consolidation Associate Director will be responsible for financial consolidation and support quarterly reporting, ensuring accurate closings for several entities and HQ activities.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and post consolidation journal entries
Manage intercompany eliminations and financial statement preparation
Support external audits and quarterly reviews
Ensure accurate month-, quarter-, and year-end closings
Document complex accounting transactions (e.g., IP, leasing, pensions)
Implement new accounting standards
Maintain Group Accounts Descriptions
Support ICFR evaluation and internal controls
Guide affiliates on accounting and reporting matters
Assist with ERP and consolidation system improvements

Requirements:

5+ years experience in Finance, including 2+ years in group accounting or audit
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and Swiss statutory accounting
Experience with SAP Group Reporting a plus
Solid understanding of internal controls (COSO framework)
Strong analytical and communication skills
Fluent in English; German is a plus
