Client Development Director
EMEA Recruitment is working exclusively with a leading manufacturer based in Basel, seeking an Accounting & Consolidation Specialist.
This is a 6-month contract, starting ASAP.
As the Accounting & Consolidation Specialist, you'll possess a can-do attitude, be able to adapt and perform in a changing environment, and show a willingness to learn from other senior members of the wider Finance team.
Key responsibilities:

Support monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidation processes
Post top-side journal entries and validate figures
Prepare financial statements for internal and external reporting
Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal financial reporting controls
Provide IFRS Accounting guidance to local entities
Maintain and support financial reporting and IT systems (SAP)
Assist with external audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
Lead and contribute to various ad-hoc Finance projects
Support the VP Finance in preparing the Sustainability Report

Your profile:

Accounting/Finance degree
Solid experience in financial consolidation
Strong working knowledge of IFRS
A proactive, open-minded, and goal-oriented mindset
Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills
Fluency in English
