MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To provide high-quality bilingual administrative and secretarial support to the Boarding team, contributing to the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of the department. The role plays a key part in ensuring clear communication, effective organisation, and excellent service to students, families and staff.
This is a 50% position, available to start as soon as possible.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively promote and uphold the ethos of RISE
Promote an environment of equality, diversity, and inclusion
Liaise effectively between different departments of College du Leman and external providers
Ensure daily, clear communication with students, parents, and staff on a wide range of matters
Provide basic first aid to students when required, refer them to the Health Centre, and contact parents as appropriate
Handle confidential information with discretion, professionalism, and sensitivity
Support the onboarding of new students and families in collaboration with relevant departments
Support the Boarding team with student admissions, arrivals, departures, and related logistics
Assist with the planning and organisation of meetings, events, and boarding activities
Provide translation support between English and French as required

CANDIDATE PROFILE
Your proficiencies in English and French are essential for effective communication within our multilingual environment. Your willingness to interact with students, parents, and staff while at the same time completing complex administrative tasks is paramount, and you are able to prioritise tasks to ensure efficiency and precision in your work. Analytical and meticulous by nature, you approach challenges with a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in every aspect of your responsibilities. Your enthusiasm, coupled with an open-minded attitude, enables you to adapt seamlessly to diverse situations. Moreover, you thrive under pressure, maintaining composure and focus to deliver results consistently. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills further enhance your ability to collaborate effectively within our team-oriented environment, fostering a culture of collaboration and mutual respect.
