Job Description

We are currently looking for an experienced and highly motivated

Transaction Monitoring Specialist

to join a Bank within the

Anti Financial Crime (AFC)

framework. This is a

temporary assignment

with an immediate start preferred.


The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the organization's adherence to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations by conducting thorough transaction monitoring and contributing to risk mitigation efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Perform daily transaction monitoring for corporate banking activities, with a focus on detecting suspicious, unusual, or high-risk transactions.


Analyze transaction data and client information to identify potential risks related to money laundering, terrorist financing, or other financial crimes.


Use internal tools and external resources to support investigations and ensure comprehensive analysis.


Prepare detailed, structured reports outlining findings and escalating cases requiring further review.


Collaborate closely with the KYC (Know Your Customer) and Business teams to ensure a consistent, organization-wide approach to risk management.

Profile & Requirements

Proven experience in transaction monitoring

within a corporate banking or financial institution is essential.


Solid knowledge of banking operations, products, and services relevant to corporate clients.


Good understanding of

KYC principles

and onboarding processes.


Familiarity with international and local AML regulations (e.g., FATF recommendations, Swiss AML laws, etc.).


Strong analytical and investigative skills with the ability to interpret large data sets and detect irregular patterns.


High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.


Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise reports.


Ability to work independently, handle priorities effectively, and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Fluency in Englis

h and French

; additional languages are an advantage
