Application Developer - DWH / SQL / Linux / COBOL / Angular

Project / Role:

For our client in the finance industry in Bern, we are looking for an application developer (Reference No. 924436OK) to develop and maintain software applications based on technical and operational requirements and to ensure implementation.

Main tasks:

Analyzing problems (business processes/transactions, data, functions) as well as the environment (workplace, target systems/platforms, framework organization) Determining the resulting functional and non-functional (availability, security, performance) system requirements Creating models for data, functions and/or objects Creating or selecting appropriate methods, techniques, standards, guidelines and tools for the software Development and maintenance: Development and maintenance of software applications, components, modules and interfaces to databases and other applications Ensuring the implementation and maintenance of this software Setting up and maintaining the development and test environment Assist in the implementation and testing (integration tests) of software applications Creation and maintenance of documentation (models, interface descriptions, test procedures, user manuals, etc.) Analyzing and fixing software errors in productive applications Implementing change requests Designing and implementing software improvements in the application lifecycle

Requirements:

ETL-Entwicklung: DWH, SQL, PL/SQL Unix-System: Linux, SAS Mainframe: z/OS, COBOL Other programming languages: Angular SAFe knowledge Process understanding Actuarial closing (business process) is desirable
