Project / Role:

For our client in the finance sector in Bern, we are looking for a Fullstack Java Application Developer with a focus on backend (Reference N: 924514OK) for developing and maintaining software applications based on technical and operational requirements, as well as ensuring implementation.

Main tasks:

Analyzing problems (business processes/transactions, data, functions) and the environment (workplace, target systems/platforms, organizational framework) Defining the resulting functional and non-functional (availability, security, performance) system requirements Creating models for data, functions and/or objects Creating or selecting appropriate methods, techniques, standards, guidelines and tools for software development and maintenance Developing and maintaining software applications, components, modules, and interfaces to databases and other applications. Ensuring the implementation and maintenance of this software. Setting up and maintaining the development and testing environment Assisting with the implementation and testing (integration testing) of software applications. Creating and maintaining documentation (models, interface descriptions, test procedures, user manual, etc.) Analyzing and fixing software errors in production applications Implementing Change Requests Designing and implementing software improvements throughout the application lifecycle

Requirements:

Relevant experience of at least 5 years. Java experience Application Engineering Architecture Data management/Data engineering Methodological competence Design & Problem Solving Self-management/leading oneself Dealing with complexity Communicative team player SAFe knowledge Desirable: Docker & Kubernetes, HTML 5, Jira, SQL
