Join our team as an Application Engineer

and become a key contributor to the success of our Clinical Solution and Services Team in the DACH region. In this role, you'll work hands-on with the design, implementation, and delivery of Ascom's IT-based healthcare solutions--ensuring quality, compliance, and client satisfaction throughout the entire lifecycle of our projects.


You will collaborate with cross-functional experts, provide technical guidance, and play a critical role in translating client needs into reliable system configurations. This is a great opportunity to apply your problem-solving mindset, deepen your technical knowledge in regulated environments, and actively shape how technology supports healthcare professionals.

Your Contributions

Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Health Informatics or equivalent experience 2-5 years' experience in a similar technical role Experience with Windows Server, Linux, virtualization platforms (VMWare/Hyper-V), and SQL troubleshooting Strong knowledge of enterprise/healthcare network environments (TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, HL7) Understanding of medical device regulations and data security principles Hands-on experience with Ascom systems or similar communication/medical IT solutions Good technical troubleshooting skills and ability to manage firewalls and radio coverage assessments Strong customer orientation and communication skills Time management and prioritization skills Ability to produce clear and structured documentation

What We're Looking For
