Area Sales Manager

to expand and strengthen our sales team.

Your mission

In this key business position, you will directly report to the Sales Director. Based on your solid technical and commercial background, you will ensure the overall satisfaction of our customers. In line with the company strategy, you will also work closely with distributors to reinforce Plumettaz position in the market. You will also develop new countries either directly or by building partnerships when needed. You will endorse the new technologies included in the new generation of digital machines and services. Furthermore, by offering excellent customer support you will maintain the company\\xe2\\x80\\x99s leading position in our international markets.

You

Have at least 2-3 years\\xe2\\x80\\x99 experience in a similar role international industrial machinery B2B environment, ideally in the field of mechanical devices, machines, automation, or digital solutions as a product, in domains such as Telecom, Energy, Cable.

Main responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of the commercial strategies to be followed for the \"Cable Laying\" product line in your assigned territory.
  • Develop business and turnover in the same assigned territory.
  • Be responsible for existing customer base, as well as the proactive acquisition of new customers within your assigned territory.
  • Identify the most promising markets, potential prospects and the best solutions to deploy.
  • Be responsible for the sale of our digital solutions and machines in the assigned territories.
  • Coordinate your activities with the sales team you support.
  • Travel in the assigned region to participate in/organize fairs and exhibitions, follow and visit customers, carry out demonstrations and training on our machines.
  • Continuously train our customers on our products and solutions.
  • Analyze and process the markets of the assigned territories.
  • Follow and support the evolution of our products and practices in the fields of Telecom and Energy.
  • Follow the evolution of the competition, collect information.
  • Collaborate with the different services of Plumettaz and give feedback from the market.
Your profile
  • Technical and commercial background, passionate about technology.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, you know how to manage your partners and customers thanks to your competences, your charisma, and your business astuteness.
  • Good communicator and you know how to transmit your \"Product\" knowledge to your customers and partners.
  • Solid experience in direct and indirect sales through the management of distributors.
  • Comfortable selling digital solutions as products.
  • Understanding of the fundamentals of international trade; training in sales/marketing would be an asset.
  • As comfortable in the office as in the field where you are not afraid to set foot there.
  • Able to adapt with ease to various environments.
  • Able to discuss at all levels of the value chain.
  • Able to rapidly build a network.
  • Action-oriented technical-commercial challenge.
  • Fluent in French and English (min. B2 in both languages). Any other language(s) is an asset.
  • Solid computer skills (MS office as well as tools such as CRM, ERP).
  • Comfortable using digital communication tools (presentation, virtual fairs, virtual training).
  • Honest, creative and autonomous but also know how to work in a team.
  • Your family situation allows you to be fully invested and travel (up to 50 %).
