Job Description

\\n The Payroll Manager will oversee all payroll functions for the Europe region, working closely with HR, international leaders, and Finance teams. They will collaborate with local payroll providers for processing, tax compliance, and reporting. The role also involves ensuring government regulation compliance, setting policies, advising on tax implications, and monitoring adherence.
  • Guarantee the precision, thoroughness, and punctuality of monthly payroll processing, including all subsequent filings and obligations.
  • Collection and calculation of diverse payroll inputs (car benefits and insurance)
  • Conduction of rigorous reviews of monthly payroll outputs to ensure accuracy, promptly resolving any discrepancies.
  • Authorize and execute all payments pertaining to payroll
  • Record payroll transactions in the accounting system, ensuring that payroll accounts are consistently updated and balanced.
  • Create financial and operational reports as required.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and HR to handle payroll tax compliance for factors like new benefits, international assignments, complex compensation, and policy updates.
  • Provide timely, focused guidance to business partners on regulatory obligations, while pinpointing chances for refining compliance processes.
  • Take proactive measures to scrutinize payroll practices, local customs, and laws, ensuring seamless alignment with the statutory requirements of the respective geographies.
  • Establish policies and procedures for crucial elements, overseeing compliance and ensuring their accurate inclusion in payroll processing.
  • Take a hands-on approach in overseeing the implementation of designated projects.
  • Address inquiries and concerns from relevant authorities.
Serve as the primary liaison for any audits related to payroll and benefits, encompassing areas like social security, payroll taxes, and direct and indirect tax implications. * Additional projects and duties may be assigned at the manager\\\'s discretion.

International environment |Overseeing payroll functions in the EU region
  • Possess over a decade of extensive global payroll expertise, emphasizing proficiency in international payroll intricacies, including handling diverse benefits like restricted share units and various fringe benefits across different countries.
  • Hold a degree in finance or economics, with an advantageous background in payroll studies.
  • Exhibit exceptional proficiency in spoken and written English, and demonstrate proficiency in at least one additional EU language. (French, Italian, German, Spanish)
  • Able to work closely in a diverse team, but also independently, able to liaise effectively with stakeholders within the organization
