POSTION SUMMARY

\\n

Mirum is expanding its organization in the International region to provide treatment to many patients in need. Reporting to the Sr Director, International Distributors Management, the incumbent will manage interaction with distributors in all aspects from Early Access opportunities, commercialization readiness and business performance delivering on established KPIs. This position will be crucial to the International expansion and will be key in driving the commercialization of the company\\xe2\\x80\\x99s international product portfolio. The individual will work closely with cross-functional team across the organization and with distributors in the region.

JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • \\n
  • Evaluate and plan new expansion opportunities across existing and future geographical footprint with international product portfolio\\n
  • Be the main contact in line with International Marketing function and ensure alignment of International Commercial Strategy & promotional activity with partners\\n
  • Provide guidance in investment, resource allocation trade-offs to optimize portfolio and ensure alignment with global strategy and future portfolio development\\n
  • Ensure execution of all operational business activities in order to maximize patient access and commercial impact. Manage in-depth business reviews, constant functional support and ad-hoc direct partners interactions on a regular basis as needed.\\n
  • Drive sharing-best-practice initiatives to maximize current business developed by the partners across International Markets including: commercial KPI\\xe2\\x80\\x99s benchmarking, business plan, sales plans and forecasting models, marketing tactics.\\n

QUALIFICATIONS

\\n

Education/Experience:

\\n
  • \\n
  • 8+ years experience in life sciences, start up, biotech or pharma industry, in marketing/commercial functions.\\n
  • Undergraduate degree required, Top tier MBA and/or relevant post graduate qualifications preferred. Scientific educational background a plus.\\n
  • Solid understanding of the pharmaceutical/biotech commercial operations, in multiple healthcare systems, especially in International markets.\\n
  • Proven successful experience in operational commercial role at regional and/or local country level.\\n
  • Experience in 3rd party distribution across diversity of International markets.\\n
  • Hands-on involvement in the development of commercial strategy\\n
  • Rare or ultra-rare, disease experience preferred.\\n
  • Good understanding of commercial, IP and regulatory process.\\n
