Automation Engineer (M/F/X)

ABOUT THE JOB :

As part of interdisciplinary and international projects, you will take ownership of automation tasks, contributing across all phases of project execution.

Your main responsibilities will include PLC programming, technical documentation:

Take charge of the automation scope within major engineering projects--from contract review to final delivery Design and implement software solutions for PLC-based systems tailored to production and process needs Build and run virtual simulation tools to test and validate control logic before deployment Conduct and document software testing in line with regulatory (GMP) and internal quality standards Coordinate on-site commissioning activities Collaborate closely with service and support teams to ensure sustainable system performance

ABOUT YOU :

A degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or equivalent technical field Hands-on experience in automation within plant engineering; pharma industry exposure is a strong asset Deep knowledge of PLC control systems--especially Siemens Step 7 / TIA Portal and/or Allen Bradley platforms Confident with standard office tools and technical IT platforms Fluent English required; German is a plus
