For our client, a large pharmaceutical company based in Basel, we are looking for an Automation Engineer Pharma Engineering PCS7 (m/f/d)
Background:
The Pharma Engineering Solutions department is looking for an Automation Engineer Pharma Engineering (m/f/d) with a focus on operational engineering for the Basel / Kaiseraugst locations.
As a Pharmaceutical Automation Engineer (m/f/d), you will support existing and new automation systems (primarily PCS7-based) that are or will be integrated into the Roche infrastructure. The process systems you will be supporting have a very high degree of automation and are closely interconnected with each other and with higher-level IT systems.
The ideal candidate:
has at least 5 years of professional experience in the automation field, preferably with a pharmaceutical background and relevant experience in a GMP-regulated work environment. We are looking for someone with a completed vocational training or university degree in the field of automation. Excellent user knowledge of Siemens PCS7 is preferred. Experience with TIA, WinCC, and/or other systems such as B&R, etc., is also an advantage.
Main tasks and areas of responsibility:
Operational engineering with the aim of ensuring the maintenance of production at all times
Continuous optimization of process plants and evaluation, testing and recommendation of new technologies
Proactive support of customers in the definition and initiation of investment projects
Preparation of cost estimates and schedules
Collaboration in (leadership of) interdisciplinary teams with internal and external employees and companies
Independent handling of automation projects in all project phases with responsibility for costs, deadlines, resources and technical solutions
Support in audits and inspections by internal bodies and authorities in the area of ??GMP and SGU
Must Haves:
Completed technical training or studies in the field of automation, electrical engineering, technical computer science or similar
Very good process engineering understanding and at least 5 years of professional experience in operational engineering and plant construction, preferably with a pharmaceutical background
Very good user knowledge of network technology and automation software: Siemens PCS7 as well as S7, TIA, WinCC
Sound experience in the GMP and GAMP environment
Willingness to work in an agile, self-organized work environment
Very good German and English skills are required

Experience with hardware planning (COMOS, CAE)
