- As Azure DevOps Engineer, you would ensure automated deployment and high availability of the cloud applications of the company in the headquarters in Biel.
- You will be reporting to the Head of Innovation and R&D Manager and working in the Agile environment.
- Moreover, you will be delivering cloud applications for the IoT environment.
Responsibilities:
- Define and implement tools and processes to facilitate the deployment of the cloud applications
- Automate and manage deployment, testing, and continuous integration of the cloud applications
- Create new processes to measure the application\\\'s effectiveness and detect areas for the improvement
- Collaborate with the respective stakeholders to ensure the applications environments follow the security guidelines and standards
- Work in collaboration with 2nd level support to identify and solve customer incidents
Desired Profile:
- Bachelors / Masters in informatics, system engineering, computer science, or similar
- Min. 5 years of experience in software engineering
- Proven experience and a strong background in Microsoft Azure Cloud and Agile Methodologies
- Experience with automation tools, CI/CD, and Puppet
- Very good knowledge of programming languages: Java, C# or C++
- Handling continuous integration environments using build server solutions like MS Azure, DevOps, Atlassian, Bamboo, Jenkins
- Fluent in English and any other language like French, German, or Italian is considered a plus
- Good knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, unit-testing, and test-driven development
