We're looking for a Backend Engineer to help build and scale the core of our digital banking platform. You'll contribute to the design and development of backend services that power features used by thousands of clients, all in a secure, cloud-native environment.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:


Developing backend services powering wealth management, client engagement, and everyday banking features Writing clean, testable, and scalable code that meets high-quality standards Participating in system architecture and design discussions Collaborating closely with mobile, frontend, product, and banking operations teams Owning features throughout the development cycle with a focus on reliability, security, and maintainability Learning from senior engineers and contributing to improving team practices Taking responsibility for your components and continuously growing your technical ownership


OUR STACK:


Java 17+ Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes PostgreSQL, Apache Kafka, BigQuery, OpenAPI, REST Google Cloud Platform, GitHub CI/CD, Prometheus, Grafana

Erfahrung / Fahigkeiten erforderlich

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:


3-5+ years of backend engineering experience Solid proficiency in Java Experience building REST/HTTP APIs in cloud-native setups Familiarity with event streaming or pub/sub architectures Strong knowledge of SQL databases Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and microservices A product mindset, curiosity, and a bias for action Strong communication skills in English


NICE TO HAVE:


Experience in fintech, banking, or portfolio management systems Experience with Google Cloud Platform Familiarity with generative AI tools and applications
