We are seeking a talented and driven Brand Media Specialist - EMEA to join our Marketing EMEA team in Basel, Switzerland. In this role, you will lead the planning, execution, and optimization of Fossil brand media across EMEA, with a strong focus on Germany and France. You will own the regional brand media agenda across digital and offline channels--partnering closely with internal stakeholders and external media agencies to deliver high-impact, efficient, and locally relevant brand campaigns across Fossil's core categories, with a particular focus on watches and jewelry.

This is a hybrid position based in our Basel office. You will be required to work onsite from Monday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays. This role reports directly to the Head of EMEA Marketing GTM - Fossil brand.



What you will do in this role:



Brand Media Strategy & Planning

Define and lead the EMEA brand media strategy for the Fossil brand in alignment with regional and global marketing objectives. Translate global brand and campaign frameworks into locally relevant media strategies, particularly for Germany and France. Support the seasonal marketing and media planning process end-to-end, from briefing through final presentations to global and regional stakeholders.

Execution & Optimization

Own the planning, execution, and ongoing optimization of brand media campaigns across key channels, including Paid Social, Programmatic (Display & Video), Out-of-Home (OOH), paid media partnerships, and experiential marketing. Act as the primary regional lead for media agencies, ensuring clear briefs, strong strategic guidance, and high-quality execution. Continuously improve media effectiveness and efficiency, identifying test-and-learn opportunities to strengthen brand metrics and creative performance.

Performance Measurement & Reporting

Own weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting with a strong focus on brand KPIs and media efficiency. Analyze campaign results and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations. Share best practices, learnings, and innovations across regions and with global teams.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Market Expertise

Partner closely with regional teams, including eCommerce, Performance Media, CRM, PR & Influencers, Trade Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Commercial Teams, and Global Marketing. Act as a strong regional voice--aligning media strategies with commercial priorities while protecting brand consistency. Monitor media and industry trends and translate relevant developments into proactive recommendations for the EMEA region. Apply a strong understanding of local market nuances, consumer behavior, and media landscapes, especially in Germany and France.

Who You Are

4-6 years of experience in brand media, paid media, or media strategy (in-house or agency). Strong experience across brand-focused channels, including Paid Social, Programmatic Display & Video, and OOH. Solid understanding of omnichannel marketing and the role of brand media within the broader marketing ecosystem. Proven ability to work with and guide media agencies--confident challenging recommendations and steering strategic direction. Familiarity with media platforms such as Meta and DV360 (hands-on buying not required). Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to synthesize data from multiple sources. Experience working with GA360 or equivalent analytics tools. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and time-management skills. High attention to detail and strong understanding of the customer journey and content strategy. Self-starter mindset, comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, international environment. Fluent English required; German and/or French are a strong plus.
