We offer a Web app that supports optimized energy planning & management of sites from a building to a neighborhood to an entire city. With Sympheny\'s unique synthesis of digital twin technology and powerful algorithms, energy performance objectives which previously seemed unthinkable are transformed into practicable design solutions. And analyses which previously took days can be completed in hours. For Sympheny\'s customers, this means more confidence and transparency in achieving their sustainability objectives, and less time & money wasted along the way.


Business development:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities (e.g. new market segments, prospective customers and partners) for Sympheny in Switzerland and internationally‍
  • Build and maintain an expert understanding of market trends, customer needs, regulatory developments and competition across different market segments‍
  • Further develop the customer journey for different customer segments and derive the business cases to use with partners/customers as a basis for determining pricing and prioritizing the planning of new developments‍
  • Collaborate in continuous optimization of Sympheny\'s product-market fit, product development and competitive positioning with the product development, customer experience and management teams‍
  • Further develop Sympheny\'s sales operations in collaboration with the sales and management teams, with emphasis on scalable processes and instruments as well as CRM ways of working
Customer acquisition & sales:
  • Generate and close sales leads/opportunities‍
  • Nurture relationships with existing/new customers/partners, incl. Customer Success activities‍
  • Represent Sympheny at workshops, conferences, trade shows and other events
In addition, the role is anticipated to contribute to:
  • Development of marketing content (e.g. LinkedIn posts, articles, blog posts)‍
  • Customer project delivery‍
  • Corporate development activities adjacent to the key responsibilities above

  • Experience working in one or more of Sympheny\'s target market segments (engineering firms, energy utilities, real estate), with an initial network in one or more segments and a familiarity with customer priorities and requirements‍
  • Engineering or business degree from a top-tier university‍
  • Experience with B2B SaaS businesses / sales‍
  • Technical knowledge sufficient to explain the technological underpinnings of Sympheny\'s product(s), to demonstrate the products and to use them in live projects‍
  • Experience working in one or more of Sympheny\'s target market segments, with an initial network in one or more segments and a familiarity with customer priorities and requirements‍
  • Excellent presentation, communication and stakeholder management skills‍
  • Strong analytical skills‍
  • Self-organized, able to prioritize in the face of shifting priorities, willing to be challenged‍
  • Enthusiastic about making an impact and building and scaling a SaaS venture‍
  • Fluency in English and at least one other European language (e.g. German, French)
  • Interest in sustainability and contributing to the global energy transition‍
  • Experience working with a CRM system is a plus
