The role provides the opportunity to work with Private Bankers and clients directly to service the documentational needs of both client and bank. This allows for personal progression in the understanding of regulatory requirements, exposure to Relationship Management, Transaction Support, wide array of financial products and direct sales administration. The role affords the successful candidate knowledge of external developments in the KYC, Tax, Compliance sectors and other evolving regulatory requirements relating to onboarding.

The EMEA onboarding team is a specialized client facing (business unit) located in London, Geneva, Luxembourg and Warsaw.

Description, Responsibilities:
  • The role requires a strong understanding of complex account structures and ability to facilitate direct client guidance on CGW policy / regulatory driven requirements during or after client meetings
  • Good understanding of evolving entity types preferred by sophisticated clients alongside classic entity types
  • Preparation of and sharing of full documentation tailored to the account structure for a seamless client experience
  • Building KYC client profiles based upon information obtained from clients and approved public sources
  • Ensuring valid KYC data is collected from clients and their representatives
  • Once a completed client account application pack is received, the candidate must have the ability to validate documents and revert to client with guidance where gaps are identified for best client experience
  • Identify red flags during background checks and escalate obtaining necessary approvals
  • Work to reduce the end to end account delivery cycle time to proactively manage banker and client expectations on delivery of accounts.
  • Suggest and partner senior management on process improvements to feed into strategic operating model
  • The position requires strong ability to work independently to apply knowledge of policy and procedures, ensuring all aspects of the client\\xe2\\x80\\x99s profile are captured while providing best in class client experience
  • Ability to work to and meet time sensitive deadlines understanding the needs of the client at all times
  • The candidate must have exceptional communication skills to work with onboarding partners such as Compliance, Business Risk, KYC quality checker and Tax Teams
Knowledge and Experience:

5+ years Banking Experience in KYC / AML Compliance / Customer Due Diligence account opening

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Degree level education preferred
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in English (working language)
  • Multilingual skillset preferred to assist with client interactions
  • Good interpersonal skills required
  • Well organized with strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft windows
  • Ability to interpret data and understand trends beneficial
