Job Description

Aufgaben

  • Manage end-to-end procurement of sheet metal and welded assemblies / weldments
  • Drive the complete sourcing process: demand and market analysis, RFQ/tendering, bid evaluation, negotiation, award, and contract finalization
  • Develop and implement commodity and supplier strategies (e.g. bundling, dual/multiple sourcing, make-or-buy decisions)
  • Responsabilities: supplier qualification, performance reviews, escalation management, cost/value engineering (e.g. should-cost analysis)
  • Participate in supplier audits (quality & process), support APQP/PPAP together with Quality and Engineering
  • Work closely with Engineering, Production, Industrial Engineering, and Quality to secure series launches and product changes
  • Conduct risk management regarding capacity, raw material availability, logistics, and geopolitical challenges
Qualifikation
  • Technical background ideally combined with FH/University degree (e.g., commercial, mechanical/manufacturing/welding)
  • Strong supplier management: qualification, development, audits.
  • Proven experience in technical environments, ideally with welded and fabricated parts.
  • German and English: business-fluent
  • Ideally, experience with an ERP system (e.g., D365 or SAP).
