How you make a difference

In this role, you continuously develop and maintain our CI/CD pipelines with GitHub actions and ensure that modern standards and best practices are incorporated seamlessly into our development processes. You build and optimize developer tooling and workflows that increase our teams' motivation and enable them to work smoothly and efficiently. By automating build, test and deployment processes, you not only increase quality and speed, but also create a foundation for greater stability and innovation. You support developers with all questions relating to CI/CD and act as a competent contact person and sparring partner. With a focus on the developer experience, you continually identify potential for improvement and implement targeted measures that make our developer workstation noticeably more attractive. In close cooperation with DevOps and platform teams, you develop sustainable solutions and set standards across teams.

What you have to offer

For this role, you bring in-depth experience with GitHub and GitHub actions as well as a solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and DevOps principles. Automation, scripting (e.g. Bash, Python) and infrastructure-as-code are part of your skill set, ideally supplemented by experience with Ansible or Terraform. As an experienced software developer, preferably with Java or C#, you are very familiar with Linux environments and container technologies. You understand the requirements of modern software development, know what developers need to work productively and win others over with your team spirit, personal initiative and strong communication skills. You speak English and German fluently. Each additional language is a plus, but not a must.

You are free to choose your place of work between the Bern, Neuchatel and Bellinzona locations, provided that you have one presence day per week in the office and one day per month in Bern.
