Job Description

As a Commercial Controlling Manager, you leverage data-driven insights to optimize financial performance and support strategic decision-making. Your demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting ensures accurate and timely reporting, driving business growth and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Play a key role in setting up new reporting processes for our owners: Lead the development and implementation of efficient reporting processes to ensure accurate and timely information delivery to stakeholders.
  • Ownership of monthly collection and review of defined KPIs: Take full responsibility for gathering and analyzing key performance indicators on a monthly basis to track and improve business performance.
  • Support monthly closing activities: Assist in the timely and accurate completion of monthly financial closing activities, ensuring all financial data is properly recorded and reported.
  • Support during Budget and Forecasting process: Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing detailed financial analysis and insights to support strategic planning.
  • Support the preparation of presentations and documentation for senior management: Aid in the creation of comprehensive presentations and documentation to effectively communicate financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Play a role in improving relevant reporting systems: Participate in the enhancement and optimization of reporting systems to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Support on ad-hoc requests/projects in a timely and accurate manner: Provide prompt and precise support for various ad-hoc requests and projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Provide support for Commercial regions and facilitate decision-making through data-driven analysis: Deliver support for Commercial Regions operations and collaborate closely with the business to manage G2N and Opex accruals, ensuring accurate financial tracking and reporting.
  • Assess current state and drive standardization for key strategic initiatives across Finance: Evaluate the current financial landscape and champion the standardization of critical strategic initiatives to ensure consistency, efficiency, and alignment across the Finance department.
  • Explore SAP capabilities for key processes: Investigate and leverage SAP functionalities to optimize essential financial and operational processes, enhancing overall efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Play a key role in redefining the processes for the ERP upgrade: Contribute significantly to the redefinition and optimization of processes in preparation for the ERP upgrade, ensuring seamless integration, enhanced performance, and minimal disruption.
  • Help to drive reporting consistency across the regions: Promote and ensure uniform financial reporting practices across different regions to maintain data integrity, comparability, and transparency.
  • Be the power user for our finance BI reports and help to further evolve them: Act as the primary expert for finance business intelligence reports, continuously improving and evolving these tools to meet organizational needs and drive better decision-making.
  • Design and implement process improvements to shorten the reporting cycle: Review and enhance the reporting cycle, systems, and timelines by implementing automated solutions and best practices to streamline financial reporting, improve data accuracy, and accelerate decision-making.
Qualification & Experience:

  • Presentation and communication skills: Strong ability to create and deliver compelling presentations, effectively communicate complex information, and engage with diverse audiences to drive understanding and action.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Controlling or Accounting: Demonstrates a solid foundation and practical expertise in financial management, with a proven track record of at least three years in controlling or accounting roles.
