For our Governance & Policies team within the Central Compliance Department based in Zurich, we are looking for a Compliance Officer to join the team. Our team acts as central hub for policies and standards and is responsible for maintaining a robust Compliance Risk Framework which is essential for upholding regulatory request, promoting effective governance and ensuring highest standards of compliance across our operations.

YOUR CHALLENGE

Handle third-party due diligence requests incl. the development and implementation of solutions to support continuous improvement of related processes and procedures Support Risk Type Owners in Compliance with the implementation of regulatory developments and industry best practices into internal policies and standards Support the enhancement and implementation of global Compliance standards Participate in key initiatives to set up new methodologies & standards Maintenance of the Compliance Risk Management Framework incl. coordination of the Global Compliance Program and regulatory and/or external audits Opportunity to interact with senior stakeholders within Compliance and Business and as well as with the Group's international locations Collaborate with partners across all three Lines of Defence and domestic and foreign Group affiliates

YOUR PROFILE

University degree (Law or Business Administration) or equivalent Several years of expert experience in Legal and Compliance or Audit at a globally operating Bank Proficiency to effectively apply working knowledge of global AML and CFT (Combating the Financing of Terrorism) regulations and standards, current money laundering schemes to effectively identify and mitigate risks Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions: ability to interpret an extensive variety of data and deal with complex situations Skill to communicate unpopular opinions/decisions and to stay firm under pressure Proven track record of solving highly complex problems, decision-making and prioritizations abilities Solution-oriented and very strong analytical skills Exhibit sound judgment and discretion Good knowledge of MS Office and IT-flair
