For our Group Marketing Cosmetics department in Arlesheim, we are seeking to fill an internship position immediately for a duration of one year as

Global Consumer & Market Insights Intern (m/f/d) 100% (12 months)

The roleActively contribute to the development and execution of consumer insights and marketing research projects. Collaborate closely with various departments at Weleda, gaining valuable insights into consumer research, market trends, brand management, and product development. Extract, analyze, and interpret performance data from internal databases. Work alongside Weleda's global markets and external research partners, fostering international collaboration and expertise. Conduct trend scouting to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the beauty and natural cosmetics industry using platforms like Mintel, Euromonitor, and social listening tools. Support the planning, execution, and analysis of primary market research projects in collaboration with external research partners. Prepare decision-making materials, including presentations, Excel reports, and graphics, for senior management. Assist in the creation and coordination of internal consumer insights reports. Help organize workshops, meetings, and events focused on consumer insights and market trends.

Your profileFinal-year student or graduate with a bachelor's or master's degree in marketing or a related field. Initial practical experience in marketing or market research, ideally within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector or an agency environment, is a plus. A high level of creativity paired with strong business acumen and the ability to interpret performance metrics. Strong motivation to learn, a proactive working style, and a passion for trends, consumer behavior, and marketing strategies. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Outstanding communication skills with a positive, can-do attitude. Solid project management skills and a structured, organized approach to work. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Comfortable working in a global setting with fluency in English and German; additional languages are an advantage. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
