Job Description

Alegra Group AG is hiring on behalf of a leading technology-driven organization in Basel. We are seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Engineer with hands-on expertise in OpenShift AI, Docker, and Kubernetes to support our client's AI platform initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to scalable AI deployment strategies and play a critical role in customer-facing engagements.
Tasks

• Act as the technical point of contact in pre-sales engagements, providing expert guidance on OpenShift AI solutions.
• Design and demonstrate scalable AI deployment architectures using Docker and Kubernetes
• Work closely with sales teams and customers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Deliver product presentations, live demos, proof of concepts, and technical workshops.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to provide feedback from the field.
• Travel to customer sites as required (mostly within Switzerland).

Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience with OpenShift AI, including configuration and optimization.
• Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes in real-world, production-level deployments.
• Solid understanding of AI/ML model lifecycle management and scalable infrastructure design.
• Previous experience in a Pre-Sales, Solutions Engineer, or Technical Consultant role.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills - able to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel regularly for customer meetings.
• Fluency in English (German is a plus).
