Corporate Actions Specialist

THIS POSITION IS BASED IN ZURICH.

The Corporate Action Specialist is responsible for the management of the processing and overall monitoring of all categories of Corporate Actions events from end to end.

He is also responsible of the query management and client facing in relation with this activity

YOUR WORKDAY

Corporate Action Events

Opening and setup of Corporate Action Events based on Swift or markets information analysis.
Reading and understanding of events prospectus
Creation and sending of pre-advices
Proper management and processing of client instructions to CSD and Lead Manager on a timely manner
Daily controls on the accuracy of the events setup
Daily checks on the stock and cash reconciliation resulting from Corporate Events
Daily compensation checks received from SIX SIS
Interactions with the market
Handling of client queries related to Corporate Action Events
Monitoring of Settlement instructions related to pending Corporate Action including interactions with the Settlements Team
Controls and materialisation of the controls based on BNP standards
Proxy Voting linked to SRDII eligible securities
Understanding of the Swiss Market specifics

YOUR PROFILE & SKILLS

Strong knowledge about all type of Corporate Actions (Mandatory/Volu/Chos)
Multi-year experience in banking
Use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel)
Good know-how about the Swiss securities market
Time management
Pro-Active approach
Very good written and spoken English and German skills, French is an advantage
Defining and optimising work flow processes
Good organisation and communication skills
