Job Overview

TE Connectivity\\\'s Accounting Teams develop, implement and/or maintain one or more accounting systems: Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Revenue Reconciliation, Cash Flows, etc. in accordance with GAAP policies and procedures. They also design operational procedures and processes that meet audit standards and improve efficiency.

your main tasks:
  • Support the Business Units with the Standard Costing process
  • Responsible for the Interim Cost Change process
  • Responsible for the Coordination of the Annual re-Cost process and the calculation of the impact and the calculation of the new Freight/Duty/Burden-rates
  • Calculation of the impact of the yearly re-cost
  • Business Partner for the Business Units in regards of Costing
  • Daily costing checks
  • regular sanity checks of the masterdata
  • Coordination of the count of Inventory in Warehouses and in Customer Consignment Stock locations
  • Responsible for the purchase of precious metals for the plants and the respective accounting of it in the general ledger
  • Month End Close process (reports, precious metals)
  • monthly Account reconciliation of the responsible accounts
Your profile:
  • Education in Finance and Accounting (Degree; University / University of Applied Sciences or another comparable Degree)
  • Experience in costing or as a plant controller are a big advantage
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Good in Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good english skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
