The Opportunity




We're currently looking for a

Customer Engagement Center Trainee

. Someone to join our dynamic Customer Service team in order to support our daily operations and ensure a high-quality service experience for our customers. Someone with a passion for communication, an interest in customer interaction, and a desire to make a forward-thinking impact in the automotive industry. This role will involve collaboration across teams, especially in the areas of customer support, issue resolution, and service improvement.


This position is located in Zurich, Switzerland, and is a one-year traineeship. We believe in a hybrid model when it comes to remote and onsite work, knowing that both in-person collaboration and individual time to focus are needed. What matters most is that people get the time and support to do what needs to be done - and enjoy doing it, of course.

The Responsibilities




In this trainee role, you'll learn about various customer service processes by working closely with the contact center team, ensuring customer inquiries are handled efficiently and professionally. You'll be instrumental in maintaining customer satisfaction and supporting daily operations. See below for a breakdown of the main objectives of the traineeship and responsibilities:

Support in handling customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat Assist in resolving customer issues promptly, ensuring high customer satisfaction Support the team in maintaining customer data and providing accurate information Assist in analyzing customer feedback to improve service quality You will be entrusted with responsibility for specific areas of your own

The Ideal Candidate




To succeed in this role and at Polestar, you'll need to be detail-oriented with a high degree of empathy and accuracy. We expect you to have excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders. You'll thrive in this role if you're able to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and proactively solve problems in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.


In addition, you'll need the following qualifications:

Completed vocational training, high school degree or other relevant practical experience in customer service Proficiency in German and English. Swiss German, French and Italian are considered a plus Tech-savvy with an interest in electric mobility Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with customers professionally Prior experience with Salesforce (or any other CRM system) and Microsoft Office Suite would be considered a plus
