We are looking for an experienced, motivated Data Analyst with an entrepreneurial mindset to join the team in Zurich. As Data Analyst in the area of investment controlling and portfolio management you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making processes and providing valuable insights to support our investment strategies. Ideally, you have some experience in investment controlling/ reporting. Your responsibilities include:

Responsibility for Investment Controlling and Portfolio Management

• Tracking of portfolio company financials and KPIs, including ESG & Impact elements
• Monitoring and assessing portfolio performance and health (portfolio assessment tool)
• Interacting with portfolio company management teams
• Supporting deal execution
• Continuously improve data management and analysis processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Comprehensive reporting responsibility regarding our portfolio

• Preparing quarterly portfolio company updates
• Providing input for our semi-annual investor forums
• Establishing and continuously improving systems and tools for management and investor reporting
• Providing investor-specific reports and ad-hoc requests
• Providing input for all sorts of presentations and surveys
• Performing ESG analysis and preparing reports
• Support portfolio companies in reporting and performance monitoring

Support our fundraising activities

• Assistance in fundraising and due diligence queries
• Keeping data room up to date

Required skills and qualifications

• Bachelor\\xe2\\x80\\x99s or master\\xe2\\x80\\x99s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
• 3 years of working experience as a Data Analyst in finance/reporting \\xe2\\x80\\x93 ideally in the financial industry
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g. Excel, PowerBI, SQL, Python)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
• Familiarity with investment controlling/reporting and investment accounting (VC/PE or reporting experience would be a plus)
• Fluent English is a must (writing & speaking), solid German would be an advantage
• Needs to have a strong interest in supporting the development of digital tools.
• Very good sense for presentation and communication of numbers \\xe2\\x80\\x93 must love numbers
