Data Engineer / Cloud Engineer / Analytics Engineer 100 % (m/w/d) - Databricks / Python / Reporting

We are looking for a Data Engineer/Developer to strengthen an existing consulting team in an ongoing project. The project is in its setup phase and focuses on developing a Situation Center for analyzing and visualizing energy-related data.
We are seeking a highly skilled technical individual who, as the sole developer on the team, will be responsible for implementing the use cases.

Your future tasks:

Connecting and integrating source systems with Databricks Building, developing, and optimizing ETL and ELT processes Designing, implementing, and operating data pipelines with a focus on performance Data manipulation and preparation to create high-performance reports Implementing analytics and reporting use cases Building and developing dashboards Technical responsibility for all development-related issues within the project Close collaboration with subject matter experts and consultants Active participation in shaping the technical solution during the development phase

Your profile:

Very strong general development skills (essential) Solid experience as a Data Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or Analytics Engineer Excellent knowledge of Python and PySpark Excellent experience with Databricks Solid knowledge of building and optimizing data pipelines Excellent knowledge of ETL and ELT architectures In-depth experience in reporting and dashboarding Experience with Tableau is an advantage ArcGIS knowledge is an advantage (planned for the future) Industry experience in the energy or meteorology sector Experience with energy, weather, and geodata is an advantage Experience with cloud environments is an advantage (primarily Azure, but not mandatory)
