For our client in the financial industry, we are looking for a Data Platform Engineer - Azure Databricks (Unity Catalog).
Your Responsibilities:
Implement and optimize the use of Unity Catalog for data governance and management within the Azure Databricks environment Support the initial setup, configuration, and integration of Unity Catalog with Azure services such as ADLS, Key Vault, and ADF, including in a hub-and-spoke architecture Collaborate closely with the internal IT platform engineering team to ensure seamless technical integration Analyze platform usage patterns and define best practices for Unity Catalog in line with governance, security, and compliance standards Produce high-quality documentation, including architecture decisions, configuration procedures, and operational guidelines Contribute to the continuous improvement of the data platform's reliability, scalability, and efficiency through innovative technologies and methods
Your Profile:
Proven hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, specifically Unity Catalog Strong understanding of Azure data services and cloud architecture Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance requirements within the financial services sector Excellent technical documentation and stakeholder communication skills * Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
