For our Motion, Power, Sensing Division site based in Fribourg, we are currently looking for a

Demand Planner




for a temporary duration of 6 months

Your responsibilities



Demand Forecasting and Planning:
o Develop, maintain, and update accurate demand forecasts using quantitative (statistical models, historical sales data) and qualitative inputs (market intelligence, customer feedback).

o Consolidate, analyze and validate forecasts in collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders.

o Generate and communicate a 36-month rolling demand plan aligned with business objectives and market trends.

o Support New Product Introductions (NPI) by incorporating development product demand into forecasts.

o Communicate demand planning performance, challenges, and opportunities to management and relevant business units, and facilitate regular meetings with stakeholders to review forecast changes, potential risks, and mitigation plans.



SIOP Demand Reviews:
o Prepare for and lead monthly Demand Reviews and SIOP meetings with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Customer Service, Finance, and Supply Chain.

o Lead demand reconciliation processes and ensure alignment between demand plans and supply capabilities.

o Propose continuous improvements in SIOP processes, including demand load management, frozen period management, and forecast ownership.

o Act as the primary interface with Finance and Programs for budget alignment and reforecasting exercises.



Process Improvement:
o Identify opportunities for process improvements within the demand planning function

o Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand planning and inventory management.

Who we are looking for



Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or any related field Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in demand planning or supply chain forecasting within a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably aerospace Experienced in SAP, PowerBI and Excel Knowledge of manufacturing resources planning theories, SIOP principles, and industry practices Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for defining problems, collecting and analyzing data, and proposing effective solutions Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences including management and external customers at a global level Continuous improvement mindset with a passion for driving process efficiencies and innovation Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt quickly to changing business needs and market conditions Collaborative mindset with proven ability to build strong working relationships across multiple departments and functions Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively Fluent in both French and English
