Purpose of the Function:





The Part-CAMO Deputy NPCA supports the NPCA in ensuring the continuing airworthiness of the airline fleet in accordance with EASA Part-CAMO, AOC requirements, approved procedures and company policies.

The Deputy NPCA shall fully deputise the NPCA and assume all associated responsibilities and authority during their absence.

Key Responsibilities:





Support the NPCA in managing and overseeing all continuing airworthiness activities in compliance with EASA Part-CAMO. Act as Deputy NPCA, assuming full responsibility when the NPCA is unavailable. Ensure aircraft continuing airworthiness is maintained, including: Aircraft Maintenance Programme (AMP) development and control Airworthiness Directives (AD) compliance Service Bulletin (SB) and modification control Defect and deferred defect management (MEL/CDL) Oversee maintenance planning, work package preparation and maintenance release coordination. Monitor contracted maintenance organisations (Part-145) and ensure contract control. Ensure accurate and compliant technical records management. Support audits, authority surveillance and internal compliance monitoring activities. Contribute to safety management, occurrence reporting and risk mitigation. Support the development, implementation and maintenance of CAMO procedures and manuals. Provide technical support and guidance to CAMO staff. Participate in reliability programmes and continuous improvement initiatives.


Authority:





Authority to make decisions related to continuing airworthiness within the scope delegated by the NPCA. Authority to liaise directly with the competent authority and external organisations when acting on behalf of the NPCA. Authority to stop or restrict aircraft operation in case of airworthiness concerns (as delegated).


Qualifications & Experience:





Relevant technical background
(e.g. Part-66 licence or equivalent aviation technical qualification preferred).
Minimum 5 years of experience in continuing airworthiness or aircraft maintenance environment. Thorough knowledge of EASA Part-CAMO, Part-M and Part-145. Experience with aircraft maintenance programmes, AD/SB management and technical records. Previous experience in a CAMO management or supervisory role is an advantage. Good understanding of Safety Management Systems (SMS). Experienced in Airbus A320Fam Operation.


Skills & Competencies:





Strong organisational and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and take responsibility. High level of regulatory awareness and attention to detail. Effective communication and coordination skills. Fluent in English (spoken and written). German speakers preferred. Proficient in CAMO IT systems and maintenance tracking tools (AMOS/AirbusWorld/Office).


Working Conditions:





Office-based with occasional travel. On-call availability may be required. Flexible working hours depending on operational needs.
