Job Description

Your main responsibilities:* Manage the overall operation of the association: planning, monitoring activities and reporting .

  • Ensure administrative, budgetary and accounting management, in collaboration with the trustee.
  • Supervise the human resources management of a team of approximately ten salaried employees (recruitment, supervision, evaluation, skills development). Support and facilitate the recruitment, retention, and development of the movement's volunteers.
  • Represent the association to partners, clients, authorities and actors in the socio -health network.
  • Contribute to the development of the strategy and objectives related to the CCant .
  • Guarantee a collaborative and respectful working environment , aligned with the values ??of the Samaritan movement.

  • Higher education in management, public health or equivalent field.
  • Strong initiative, entrepreneurial spirit, organized and autonomous, with a proactive approach to finding solutions.
  • Proven experience in managing or coordinating SMEs or non-profit organizations.
  • Skills in financial management, HR and project management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Fluent in French at a professional level, both spoken and written.
  • Knowledge of and interest in first aid. IAS 3 equivalent level is a plus. Interest in continuous training in these subjects.
  • Knowledge of the Geneva socio -health fabric is an asset.
  • Flexibility and adaptability between the professional and associative aspects.
  • Adherence to the following principles: humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, unity, universality and voluntary participation.
The Geneva Samaritans ( SamGE ) bring together and support the Samaritan sections of the canton. The association works to promote first aid.
SamGE is based on two complementary pillars: The associative pillar, dedicated to supporting local sections (currently numbering 12) and promoting first aid through its various commissions (PICA disaster response team, training of children via Samakids , technical supervision via the CEF Supervision and Training Commission , cantonal health posts, etc.). The operational and commercial pillar, responsible for proposing and coordinating first aid courses for the public and businesses throughout the canton.
Hierarchical reporting line: Cantonal Committee of SamGE .
