Job Description

VF Corporation is looking for an exceptional Director of Health, Safety, and Security to join our Team team based in Stabio, Ticino, Switzerland.
You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the comprehensive strategy and best practices for safety, security, and well-being of employees, contractors, and visitors across all Distribution Center (DC's) operations, Stores, Offices and Showrooms in the EMEA region.
You will lead strategic initiatives to mitigate risk, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of safety and preparedness. You will be responsible for managing senior leaders located locally within the DCs that are responsible for executing the established best practices.

In your role you will cover the below activities:
Health & Safety

• Design, develop, implement, and oversee the organization's health and safety programs and procedures across all DC's in EMEA region, as well as for all other company locations in the region such as Offices, Stores and Showrooms.
• Continuously evolve and enhance health & safety strategies and programs to meet the ever- changing environment and ensure industry best standards are achieved.
• Provide technical expertise and thought partnership, create synergies and leverage knowledge, personnel, best practices, and resources across the organization. Engage with leadership and stakeholders across the regions operations to drive program effectiveness.
• Empower direct reports to identify risk, escalate concerns and recommend adjustments to safety procedures for continuous improvements.
• Develop and maintain health and safety programs compliant with each country's local legislation and regulations.
• Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses.
• Implement training programs for employees on safety protocols and emergency procedures.
• Monitor and report on safety performance metrics and trends.

Security/Loss Prevention

• Own the security strategy within each DC by partnering with DC Leadership, AP/LP Leadership, Legal and HR to create security and loss prevention to ensure safety and security standards are met at all times.
• Responsible for physical security measures including access control, surveillance systems, and perimeter protection.
• Responsible for the identification, investigation, and resolution of theft and operational shortage in the Distribution Center Network.
• Collaborate with Digital Technology and Asset Protection Operations teams to ensure integrated digital and physical security strategies.
• Manage relationships with third-party security vendors and local law enforcement.
• Develop and test crisis management and business continuity plans.

• Ability to deal with Crisis management and emergency response planning expertise
• Expertise on regulatory requirements.
