Urovant Sciences, Inc. is a biopharmaceutical company focused on developing and commercializing innovative therapies for urologic conditions beginning with overactive bladder. Our lead product, GEMTESA\\xc2\\xae(vibegron), is an oral, once-daily tablet for the treatment of adult patients with overactive bladder (OAB) with symptoms of urge urinary incontinence, urgency, and urinary frequency. GEMTESA is also being evaluated for the treatment of OAB in men with benign prostatic hyperplasia.

Position description

\

The Strategic Finance lead will play an instrumental role in Urovant\\\'s global expansion by partnering with our executive team to provide in-depth strategic financial analysis, management and insight in order to drive the growth of our business. This position shall report to the Executive Finance Director for International Operations and is based in Zug, Switzerland.

Key duties and responsibilities

\

This role is responsible for the strategic planning, budgeting guidelines and all financial aspects of major corporate initiatives. More specifically, the Strategic Finance Lead shall:

  • Build, improve, and maintain the principal operating model, linking key actions and inputs to company growth and profitability\
  • Coordinate the budgeting and revenue forecasting for international operations\
  • Provide in-depth financial management, analysis and strategic insights to the executive leadership team\
  • Provide insights and analysis to determine country pricing strategies in close collaboration with the commercial and market access teams\
  • Work with company executives to steer financial analyses around key decisions\
  • Drive activities related to the development of strategic initiatives (including but not limited to R&D programs, M&A and BD&L) as an active member of the Global Product Team and Core Development Team\
  • Evaluate, advise, and analyze the impact of short and long-term planning and implementation of new strategies\
  • Develop and maintain business models in order to evaluate the financial return of investments and strategic initiatives\
  • Establish financial reporting of key corporate projects to senior management and to provide them with key insights and recommendations\
  • Work closely with procurement and the business owners in order to assess the financial impact of material contracts with third parties\
  • Work with the leadership team in order to monitor operational, and financial risks and to assist in developing mitigaton plans\
  • Support the Corporate and Social Responsibility Committee in order to identify, track and report sustainability metrics relevant to Urovant business and CSR initiatives, in close collaboration with the Communication department.\

Education and experience

\
  • \
  • Bachelor or Master\\\'s degree and 10+ years of finance, strategy, or M&A\
  • Accounting certifications (CPA / CIMA / CMA), certifications in risk management or ESG preferred.\
  • Broad experience in various organizations in the life sciences industry\
  • Understanding of the product life cycle\

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with senior leadership\
  • Fluent in English.\
