For our office in Faellanden we are searching an EHS Coordinator (m/f/d).

You will be responsible for reducing and controlling the industrial risks within a company. Within this framework, you will be responsible for the immediate working environment and oversee the EHS policy in accordance with health, safety and environmental standards and regulations and also legal requirements.

Aufgaben/Verantwortlichkeiten

• Ensure compliance with safety and environment laws and regulations
• Manage regulatory documents related to safety and environment
• Prepare and update risk assessments and relevant documents
• Maintain reliable and functional equipment
• Develop and implement safety and environmental regulations
• Assess and monitor ocupational risks within the company
• Coordinate prevention teams and activities
• Define and implement the company\\\'s prevention and emergency plans
• Conduct or oversee risk assessments
• Take immediate action during hazardous situations
• Analyse workplace conditions and address any issues
• Investigate causes of occupational accidents and develop action plans
• Manage safety and environmental performance data and reporting
• Conduct internal safety and environmental audits
• Prepare for and participate in external safety and environmental audits
• Manage the safety and environmental budget
• Advise on and coordinate the purchase and storage of protective equipment and materials (PPE)
• Coordinate employee training on safety and environmental topics
• Promote safety and environmental awareness through fire drills and other initiatives
• Coordinate company first-aiders and ensure compliance with legal requirements

Qualifikationen

• Successfully completed studies in engineering with a focus on Environmental Engineering, Safety, Health, Safety & Environment, Environmental Hygiene, Safety Engineering or equivalent
• Training as a CTA (chemical-technical assistant) or BTA (biological-technical assistant) with additional qualifications in the area of EHS
• 2-3 years of experience as a safety and health coordinator, environmental manager, or safety engineer, environmental protection or health protection with a strong emphasis on conducting risk assessments and implementing risk mitigation measure
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 / 45001 standards would be advantageous
• Proficiency in MS Office package
• Basic knowledge of SAP is desirable
• Very good command of both written and spoken German and English.
