Join STS Group as our next Quality Lead for a major heavy industrial project in Switzerland

We are looking for an experienced Electrical QAQC Lead to join our project in Switzerland. Part of the Dussmann Group of companies based out of Berlin, STS Group is fully committed to the highest Health, Safety and Environmental & Quality practices, this position will play a major role in the delivery of a key project for us in Switzerland on a large scale industrial project.

The Opportunity

This role will work closely with the wider project and quality leadership team to ensure our projects meet the highest standards, meeting and exceeding our clients' expectations and deliverables. Key to this role will be the ability to effectively plan and manage quality systems and procedures.

Reporting to the Project Manager, here are some of the key duties of this role:

Prepare handover inspection and test documentation and operation & maintenance manuals. Implementation of STS Quality and Inspection Test Plans on projects. Coordinate commissioning of electrical systems with the STS teams and other stakeholders. Full review of inspection and test documentation. Deliver STS quality themed inductions and toolbox talks to project teams. Review and issue final handover packages to the client. Ensure compliance to regulatory standards throughout the installation and inspection of the project. Perform quality inspections of the installations and control the close out of defects. Oversee that testing is correctly executed on the project. Liaise with the construction management team and client on installation and quality matters. Input into weekly progress reporting on quality items. Perform internal quality audits.

Key Qualifications Required:

Electrical/Instrumentation trades qualification or Electrical Engineering degree. Previous E&I testing and verification experience. Evidence of previous experience controlling the QAQC handover of industrial projects. Excellent attention to detail and organisational / planning skills. Ability to self-manage, prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
