In our quest to revolutionize the world's infrastructure, we are seeking an Energy and Sustainability Services Marketing Manager for our SI Building Business Unit Team within our SI S Marketing Unit

Location: This position will be in either Zug, Switzerland or Munich, Germany

The Role
As a Global Marketing Manager for Energy and Sustainability Services you will be creating marketing strategies and content targeting Buildings and Industry customers globally. This role reports into the Head of Marketing for Verticals & Sustainability at Siemens Smart Infrastructure Buildings and serves as the business partner for the technical unit SUS
Your new responsibilities

• Own & develop the marketing plan for SUS incl. metrics and budget planning, collaborating closely with the Head of SUS, Portfolio teams, Verticals, Countries, Communications, and your peers in Offer Marketing
• Ensure planning is in line with overarching Go to Market strategy
• Articulate value proposition and strategic narrative and position the entire portfolio of Energy and Sustainability Services
• Lead & design the strategic narrative providing guidance to demand generating and Sales teams
• Create compelling, customer-centric content that can be used in an omnichannel and multipurpose approach for digital assets, sales collateral, whitepapers, event storylines that are linked to current and future portfolio
• Leverage market, customer and competitive insights as a basis for all of the above and where needed ideate, conduct and conclude on research in partnership with the business to create actionable insights
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends in the field of energy and sustainability services, bringing new ideas and innovations to the team
• Author and orchestrate a marketing strategy that your peers and countries will be able to translate into campaigns & tactics
• Ensure Siemens Xcelerator is positioned respectively and be part of identifying opportunities for growth and channelling feedback via established workstreams
• Apply best practices and benchmarking towards our Marketing activities

Your talents and experience

• Bachelor's degree in engineering field; additional MBA would be an asset
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in Marketing, Strategy, Energy Engineering or Management Consulting
• Knowledge of energy and sustainability trends and best practices, including energy management, sustainability reporting, and carbon reduction strategies
• Strong knowledge of vertical operations and processes in one or more of the following key verticals: Automotive, Higher Education, Food & Beverage, Pharmaceuticals/ Life Sciences or Health Care
• Consistent record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies
• Understanding of marketing principles, strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to inform decision-making
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with counterparts at all levels of the organization
• Proficient communication and presentation skills in English. German and any other European language is an advantage
