Kiducation was founded in summer 2024 and provides an educational after school program for children 6-14. Our immersive learning environment empowers children to build confidence in communicating and to develop critical thinking.

We are expanding our international team and are looking for an enthusiastic, caring, patient and qualified teacher to join us.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and lead engaging EAL classes for a small group of children who all have no or very little command of English (aged 6+) Incorporate themes using games, songs, storytelling, role plays and hands-on activities to keep students engaged Encourage children to speak by immersing them into fun activities Ensure effective communication with parents Ensure a safe and inclusive environment

Learning objectives:

Use basic phrases and expressions and interact in a simple way in English Build up first vocabulary Help students with correct pronunciation Ignite a passion for learning Help children to become confident in speaking the new language

Qualifications and Requirements:

Essential:

A certified / qualified educator for primary school children Able to deliver an interactive and immersive beginners class with a strong focus on speaking CELTA qualification or relevant experience teaching English as an additional language Native speaker of English In possession of a valid Swiss work permit

Desirable:

First Aid certification Willingness to travel to other locations within Zurich Oberland. Flexible in work schedule, with the possibility to extend

Job details:

Lessons will be held in the center of Uster and / or surrounding areas Approx 2h / week, with the possibility to extend it further Starting date to be agreed upon
