The department / team







Windows Basic is a legacy Windows 10/11 product part of the AXA Group Operations Workplace - Modern Device Product line.


It is a worldwide deployed product which technical configuration is mainly managed by 3 geographical teams (L3 engineering teams) taking care of continuous support & contributing to global & local projects.



As part of the Workplace-Modern Device Product line, you will be the Product Owner in charge of

implementing the strategy provided

by the Product Manager (Device lifecycle management, improvements, management of AXA-internal programs such as Security programs, new product features, technical debt management activities etc.) in coordination with the Windows Basic Product Owner.


Besides the Windows Basic Product roadmap activities, you will also

coordinate the local activities happening in the different scopes of Europe where the product is deployed

(Belgium, Germany, Switzerland).


You

will be jointly working with the engineering teams whose mission is to deliver the technical solutions allowing us to maintain the operations, quality of service, and security level.





In this context, the Windows Basic Europe Product Owner works with several Teams:

The Product Management, that will provide the strategy, vision and roadmap of the Product The Windows Basic Product Owner, that will cascade activities from the Product roadmap into each regional backlog The Engineering Teams (split by geographical areas) managing the integration activities External actors such as AXA internal Programs Our partner entities: which are requestors of some projects to be handled by our engineering teams

Main missions

Your responsibilities include:Secure the delivery of activities impacting Windows Basic in the Europe scope to maintain the expected level of security & quality of service towards our partner entities Build and maintain the backlog for the Windows Basic Europe activities (projects, features delivery, technologies end of life management) according to the Product Roadmap and Group requirements within an Agile context Create the items in the backlog of the feature team (Themes, Epics & User Story functional description) Manage the prioritization of the activities according to the strategy Build the release planning and communicate on the progression, the release content and the roadmap Be available and legitimate to quickly answer team's queries on functional aspects of the User Stories Be the mirror Project Manager of customer's project managers Participate in monthly Steering Committees, led by the Product Manager with Workplace Senior Management Technical Debt tracking: Follow-Up, reporting on the Windows Basic technical debt (eg. OS lifecycle management) & engaging communication actions toward our partner entities accordingly Communicate within the Internal Teams workspace (audience being the extended technical team delivering Windows Basic Product) about the above Be the first support contact for local team members queries

For the backlog management related activities, the Windows Basic Europe PO will be in charge of maintaining an iterative way of working with the required governance

Expected skills & experience


We are looking for someone with the following experience and skills:

Technical skills

Minimum 5 years of Workplace project management Functional knowledge of Workplace Modern device management solutions and IT domain Experience in agile methodology, acting as a Product Owner

Soft skills / transversal skills

Relational and organizational qualities, autonomy Fluency in German & English essential
Analytical and synthetical mind Editorial skills
