JOB TITLE: European Laboratory Sales Manager (Residing in Switzerland Preferred)
POSITION REPORTS TO: VP Global Marketing and Product Management (Sales)
POSITION SUMMARY: We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and driven Sales Representative to generate leads and drive sales. The position requires a dynamic, self-driven, confident team member who is responsible for the sales of laboratory products specific to life science within a defined territory, serving customers engaged in academic, pharmaceutical, biomedical, and other fields. You will maintain effective distributor and customer opportunities for growth within a new and existing distributor and customer base. A market penetration and profitability while achieving sales and profit forecasts.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Maintains effective distributor and customer relations, develops opportunities for growth within new and existing distributors and customer base, and assures market penetration and profitability while achieving sales and profit forecasts.
Perform sales calls and traveling within an assigned sales territory as needed, to conduct face-to-face meetings with existing and potential new distributors and customers.
Manage pricing within territory to control profitability, negotiate pricing as required.
Continually meet and exceed sales targets by selling company products to new and existing distributors and customers.
Develop and implement an effective sales strategy to drive sales.
Be aware of supply and price trends and support distributor and customer inquiries and communications as required.
Maintain an accurate record of all leads, distributor and customers' accounts, sales, lost business.
Alerting existing distributors and customers of new products and enhancements that may be of interest.
Ensure distributor and customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and resolve any issues that may arise post-sale.
Collaborate with the marketing department to expand brand presence through marketing materials.
Work independently while also leveraging available resources to meet customer needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficiency in all Microsoft office applications.
Experience in CRM system
Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
SUPPLEMENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Performs additional duties as directed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Preferred High School education or equivalent.
Preferred Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field OR
Minimum 3-5-year experience in proven outside sales experience.
