For our growing Facility Management organisation at a client in Zurich we are looking for a:
Facilities Assistant - Focus Logistics
Your main tasks:
You support the event set-ups, moving and removing furniture to suit the requirements set by the customer
Plan and execute interoffice transportation, and support with mailroom logistics
Plan and execute individual interoffice moves
Support with operational projects to move furniture or materials
You ensure all specific facilities issues are logged and ensure remedial actions are completed proactively
You are responsible for the provision of high class service and customer / visitor experience
You undertake daily meeting room checks, log proactive tickets and replenish stationery materials ensuring meeting space is consistently provided to the highest standard
You provide all mailroom, logistics, stationery, distribution, porterage and reception services as required
Support the consolidation of the monthly performance information for regional manager
Works in collaboration with all other client and vendor partners as required
Perform small handyman tasks to ensure equipment is stable and in good condition
Manage, coordinate and Supervise supplier personnel and subcontractors to ensure satisfactory completion of service delivery
Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed including supplier Health & Safety inductions, RAMS review and approval, appropriate Permit To Works are in place and review ofpractices
Support supplier events personnel and subcontractors to ensure the satisfactory completion of Events Finance
Ensuring the purchasing and set up of new equipment needed for the new space
Your profile:
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Fluency in written and spoken English language
Displays proactive day-to-day problem solving, with ownership and pride
Valid Swiss drivers license (not negotiable)
Motivated, can-do attitude
A basic understanding of good health & safety practices, engages in Health & Safety culture Experience
A highly motivated individual, with excellent use of initiative and demonstrates a strong passion for service excellence and understanding
