Regular inspections of school buildings and facilities (safety, cleanliness, functionality)
Organisation and coordination of repairs, maintenance work, furnishing, and legally required safety checks with external specialists
Supervising and scheduling a team of 7 staff members
Management and oversight of service and maintenance contracts (e.g. building technology, cleaning, safety)
Keeping repair and maintenance journals and ensuring accurate documentation
Performing minor repairs and maintenance tasks independently
Supporting the administration office by fielding phone calls and assisting parents, students, and employees with their requests
Close cooperation with the school leadership and external partners
Your Profile
Completed technical or vocational training, ideally with further education as a certified caretaker (Hauswart mit eidg. Fachausweis) or equivalent qualification
Several years of experience in facility management, caretaking, or building operations
Strong organisational skills, reliability, and a service-oriented approach
Experience in leading small teams is an advantage
Experience with Microsoft or Google suite
Language skills: German at C1 level (fluent), English at B2 level, english is the everyday language
