Job Description

Bracco is an international Group active in the healthcare sector and a leader in diagnostic imaging. The Group's main products are contrast agents sold in over 100 countries, both directly and indirectly through branches, joint ventures and license and distribution agreements.


We are looking for a Field Service Technician to support our installed base of medical equipment in radiology, cardiology, and nuclear medicine departments across Switzerland. The role involves corrective and preventive maintenance, system installations, and customer support. Preventive maintenance abroad is required for nuclear medicine systems only.

Key Activities



Field Service & Customer Support



Diagnose and repair electro-mechanical medical systems using proprietary software and tools Respond to corrective and emergency service calls Replace defective parts and perform functional testing Install medical systems at customer sites when required Ensure high customer satisfaction through professional communication Document service activities accurately in the service tracking system Plan and organize service visits efficiently within the assigned region Ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, QA, and safety regulations Maintain tools, test equipment, and trunk stock inventory Collaborate with internal teams (Customer Support, Engineering, Service)

Preventive Maintenance & Updates



Perform scheduled preventive maintenance according to service contracts Carry out hardware and software updates using proprietary tools Participate in preventive maintenance assignments abroad (nuclear medicine only)

Education and Prior Experience



Degree or certification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or equivalent experience. Minimum 2 years of experience servicing electro-mechanical equipment. Preferred experience in medical device field service. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Customer-oriented mindset. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good computer skills (MS Office, service databases). Willingness to travel extensively within Switzerland. Valid driver's license.
