Ridgeline Discovery GmbH is seeking a
Finance Assistant (Sachbearbeiter:in Finanz- und Rechnungswesen)
who will be proactive, self-starter and reliable in providing support in Finance matters for approximately
12 months
as a maternity leave cover.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated and enthusiastic, hands-on, detail-oriented, eager to learn and possesses exceptional organizational skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the Finance Manager in day-to-day accounting and administrative activities
Maintain purchase order records and matching PO to invoices
Monitor and manage the shared finance inbox and respond to routine queries
Process invoices and follow up with clients, suppliers and partners as needed
Recording and posting all financial transactions in the accounting system (including bank transactions, incoming and outgoing invoices, and credit card statements)
Vendor set-up and management
Provide administrative support during budget preparation
Other projects and supporting as required
QUALIFICATIONS
Work experience in Switzerland is required
Commercial apprenticeship (Kaufmannische Grundausbildung, KV, WMS or similar), preferably complemented by further training in accounting (e.g. Sachbearbeiter:in Finanz- und Rechnungswesen)
First practical experience in accounts payable or accounting operations (including bookkeeping)
Confident user of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools
Structured, reliable, and detail-oriented working style
Service orientated, trustworthy, flexible, efficient and precise approach to work
Willingness to learn and support a dynamic, multi-entity environment
English required (working language); German is an asset
