Then this Finance Transformation Manager role could be a great opportunity for you.
We are supporting a leading telecommunication company in Zurich looking for a Finance Transformation Manager to strengthen their team during a period of increased workload. This role begins as a 3-month trial-and-hire engagement, with the clear expectation of transitioning into a permanent internal position.
In this position, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering critical finance transformation initiatives - from designing target operating models to implementing modernised processes and technology. You will guide stakeholders through change, act as a bridge between Finance and other business areas, and ensure that transformation projects are executed effectively.
Your responsibilities will include:
Project Management & Execution

• Leading and managing end-to-end finance transformation projects
• Delivering initiatives on time, within budget, and according to defined objectives
• Applying formal project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile)

Process Optimisation

• Analysing current finance processes (e.g., Plan-to-Perform, Record-to-Report)
• Identifying operational inefficiencies
• Designing future-state processes leveraging best practices and technology

Stakeholder Management

• Acting as the main liaison between Finance, business units, and external vendors
• Ensuring alignment and securing buy-in across the organisation
• Facilitating clear and consistent communication

Change Management & Training

• Developing change management strategies
• Supporting user adoption during system and process transformation
• Preparing training material and delivering training to finance users

To succeed in this role, you should bring:
Experience & Knowledge

• Minimum five years of experience in finance transformation or similar roles
• Strong understanding of finance operating models
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting

Technical & Systems Skills

• Experience with financial systems, including SAP S/4
• Familiarity with planning and analytics tools
• Understanding of technologies driving finance transformation (predictive analytics, modern data tools, etc.)

Project & Communication Skills

• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
• Ability to translate strategic goals into concrete plans and actions
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly
