Tasks
As part of the Lufthansa Group Finance Community you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative solutions within the R2R process landscape. In collaboration with various stakeholders, you will ensure financial compliance and smooth operations of our global financial processes.

  • Steer and coordinate our global operational R2R processes in close collaboration with functional departments and our business service partner of the Lufthansa Group
  • Design and implement best-in-class financial processes and solutions within your area of responsibility, collaborating with relevant stakeholders, including IT, to drive efficiency in our organisation
  • Ensure compliance with local requirements and high-quality financial statements
  • Collaborate with and steer our business partners, providing financial services
  • Identify and mitigate worldwide financial risks by coordinating internal control system (ICS)
  • Drive innovation, continuously improving financial processes
  • Apply project and process management methodologies to efficiently navigate and manage complexity

Requirements
We expect an independent way of working and a passion to navigate complexity and take ownership.
  • Bachelors or Masters degree or an "HF" Advanced Federal Diploma or Higher Education in business administration or similar with a focus on Accounting
  • Min. 2+ years of practical experience in Accounting
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to communicate and present complex topics
  • Proactive and solution-oriented approach
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus
  • Experience in project as well as process management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English
  • Willingness to travel
