About the Role
Are you striving to acquire knowledge across many aspects within a large Corporate (Re-)Insurance Finance environment? With End-to-end exposure into Controlling and Reporting, as well as Financial Planning and Analysis? Are you keen on analysing and assessing various reporting and controlling topics related to Swiss Re\\xc2\\xb4s numerous external disclosures? Contribute to the communication with investors, analysts, and readers of the financial statements under the new IFRS17 accounting standard? In this role, you will support Corporate Solutions\\\' Global Finance Controlling team, part of Swiss Re\\\'s Group Finance division, with financial insights into Swiss Re\\\'s primary corporate insurance business.

In addition, you will:

• Engage and collaborate with the department\\\'s internal business partners, such as Underwriting, Asset Management, Treasury, and Investor Relations
• Contribute to provide management with relevant business steering information
• Analyse and evaluate our business drivers in relation to our financial results
• Collaborate and interact within a diverse and dynamic team
• Coordinate the resolution of reporting issues with the Group\\\'s entities worldwide
• Respond to ad hoc requests from our senior management including the CEO, CFO, Chief Underwriting Officer, and Portfolio Heads

About the Team
The Corporate Solutions Global Controlling team is Group\\\'s reliable provider of consolidated financial information of Swiss Re\\\'s Corporate Solutions business unit, supporting both internal and external stakeholders in making well-informed decisions. We support managing and steering the financial performance of the business unit and its regional and product management teams. We act as the centre of competence for financial topics across Corporate Solutions and towards Group, covering the primary insurance leg. We are a professional, engaged and highly committed global team, consisting of a group of international, forward-thinking personalities with various backgrounds and expertise. All thriving in a fast-paced environment that requires focus, interest in the business, and most importantly, positive energy and team spirit.

About You
A great team-player with willingness to contribute actively to the overall team spirit. As a fast learner, you approach problems with curiosity and flexibility. Your creativity shows a high level of initiative and you can easily adapt to a changing and dynamic environment.

• Successfully completed a university degree, preferably in a quantitative field like corporate finance, accounting or equivalent
• You have an interest in international reporting (IFRS) and accounting matters, with a flair for numbers
• Strong interest in/passion to learn about(re)insurance
• Mature & self-confident; able to work with clients, business partners or senior colleagues
• Proficient oral and written English skills; additional language skills advantageous, in particular German
• Excellent analytical skills and can focus on details without losing track of the bigger picture
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
