Your mission:
Responsible for the production of financial statements and various financial reports. Mainly for the multi-currency operations of the bank, it\\\'s Pension Fund, its Investment Pools and hosted organizations in accordance with the banks accounting policies and procedures, including analyzing the financial results.
Other work tasks:
- Operate and develop enhancements for accounting processes for daily, month-end, quarter-end and year-end activities, reconciliations and other control procedures
- Provide assistance, responding and resolving matters as part of the annual audits for the bank, its Pension Fund, its Investment Pools and hosted organization
- Produce, review, analyze and develop high-quality key management, financial and budget reports, including annual financial statement disclosures
- Participate in projects to maintain and improve finance systems, business processes, internal controls and reports within the Finance section as well as in bank-wide initiatives
- Develop and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and provide support for various departments across the Bank
- Maintain, develop and review finance related policies such as accounting and budgeting manuals
Your background:
- University degree in accounting, business administration or related field
- A primary accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA, Wirtschaftspr\\xc3\\xbcfer or equivalent), with at least three years relevant post qualification experience
- Strong reporting and accounting skills
- Knowledge of IFRS or other financial instruments
- Strong IT skills: Excellent Microsoft Excel skills is essential
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- High attention to detail, problem solving, analytical skills and time management skills
